A cross between the Llama and the
Vicuna. These hybrids are raised like sheep and cattle in the
high altitudes of the Andes Mountains. Dating back to the Inca
Empire of the 16th Century, they were treasured by royalty.
Our Furs are still hand crafted by skilled native
artisans.
Centuries
of training have created a tradition of quality workmanship in both
their detailing and authenticated design. These poetic
creations feature genuine fur with natural coloring. Although
the fur is very soft and luxurious, it is extremely
durable.
To create a
mid-sized pice the artisan first carefully selects approximately 200
sections with the proper coloring and texture. Then spending
many hours, with patience, individually sews each section together
to create the particular effect desired.
The
peerless texture and natural beauty of the furs combined with the
artistic talents of the Peruvian craftsman, number these
"masterpieces" amidst those most desirable for home
decoration. These exquisite furs are praised possessions
worldwide. |
